We have asked some of the brightest minds in Rugby to predict how the Aviva Premiership table will look at the end of the season.

Most of them didn’t get back to us, so we’ve cobbled these together from some of our writers and friends of the blog – a big thanks to Henry Ker, Jamie Hosie, Alex Shaw, Sam Roberts, Nick Heath and Louis Miles-Stringer.

As you know by now, we are hilarious, and you should be following us on Facebook and Twitter.
Personally I think Exeter will be right up there again this season. Top four in order Sarries, Wasps, Chiefs and Tigers.
Nick is clearly a Leicester fan with Tigers 1st and Saints in 8th
My guess
Sarries
Wasps
Leicester
Exeter
Saints
Gloucester
Quins
Sale
Worcester
Bristol
Newcastle
It’s crazy because it’s so unpredictable and so many teams are so close, it just depends on who clicks the best really as there are so many great squads to choose from. Any one of 9 teams could feasibly make the playoffs but all 12 teams seem “too good to go down” – yet we know that one will have to! So excited for this season
Agree with Mike, very close and difficult to call at this stage.
I suspect that Quins and Gloucester could end up near the bottom. Quins through lack of a quality coaching set up (as much as I admire Nick Easter – defence coach?????) and a reliance on international players who will only play 12-13 games in the season. Gloucester are very exposed to injuries with a lack of depth in their squad.
Everyone is writing Worcester off but they started to look better at the back of last season and I suspect will have a bit of the Sale grit about them.
As for Bristol/Newcastle time will tell.
At the top Saracens were only vulnerable during the international window and should now have a squad to deal with this. Leicester look like a very balanced and capable squad and Exeter will carry on where they left off.
Wasps will be exciting but I am not sure they can gel their squad together to make them consistent enough although if anyone can Dai Young will.
Having played all last season without a second row, Bath have opted to play this season without any centres. Won’t be too long before we see Matt Banahan back at outside centre which is always a bad sign.
So for what its worth:
Saracens
Leicester
Exeter
Wasps
Northampton
Sale
Bath
Quins
Worcester
Gloucester
Bristol
Newcastle
