Good to see Cipriani in here, some great skill involved in those tries- and he helped clear out a ruck and stop a turnover in the first instance (shock).
Also all these tries involved touches and great individual skill from our exciting, attacking fly halves- Cipriani and Burns (i’m also assuming Ford touched the ball for Bath’s try).
For all his qualities, how often do we see Farrell involved in a ‘try-of-the-week’ highlights reel?
In response to the Farrell question check out Try of the week round 4! His break through the defence leads to Ashton’s try.
good point- my bad…
Watching that reel again though doesnt necessarily help Farrell too much- had forgotten about that amazing break and run by George Ford! If only Ford could get his kicking up to Farrell standard…
I know I’m biased but I thought we might see Ben Ransom’s try against Exeter. Although he scored the try, the break from Ashton was superb imo should be in the mix.
Hmm…Cipriani looking decent here
Who’s the Bath 8? He seems like a handful
A chap called Leroy Houston. He’s a Kiwi who moved to Australia at 14 and represented Australia at U19 and U21 level – won the Super Rugby title in 2011 with Queensland Reds.
He had a really quiet start to his Bath career, but is finally starting to show his potential with physical displays like that. It’s something we’ve been missing!
What a great name!
