Sale fly-half Danny Cipriani has admitted that his future will likely be decided in the next couple of weeks. He revealed that he had met with England head coach Stuart Lancaster last week to discuss a potential recall to the squad for the Six Nations, on the back of some fine form for his club. Lancaster told him what he needed to do to be picked, which is outlined in the video below.
Heavily linked in recent weeks with a move to French giants Toulon, Cipriani insisted that whether he was picked for England or not was not the only thing that would determine where he plays his rugby next season.

“What you need to do Danny is keep your head down, don’t play your case in the media, let’s deal with this professionally…”
Oh…
Well quite. Looks like Easter is trying the same tactic too. Still, I remember Dallaglio talking his way in to the RWC 2007 squad through the media so…
Cipriani can make the difference between the semi final and winning the world cup.

Lancaster is being an absolute arse with Cipriani. It’s the ex school master in him coming to the surface.Personally I don’t see what more Cips can do. Yes, he was a bit of a wild man but that does now seem to be a thing of the past. Perhaps Kelly Brooke could whisper a few sweet nothings in SL’s ear. That might make him change his mind!
Seriously , after Ford and possibly Burns England are devoid of that extra special bit of stardust that transforms a good team into a great one. Over to you Mr Lancaster sir.
Burns? He can’t even get a start for Tigers!!
its simple Danny you deserve one last chance, here it is don’t f**k it up, fly halfs for The Six Nations George Ford and Danny Cipriani.
Myler or Cipriani? Should be a no-brainer really. I was shocked that Cipriani wasn’t in the AI’s. His form on the summer tour was excellent, and he’s pushed on since then. He’s been consistent in his performances, and should be in the squad.
