I actually quite like this team, very big but mobile pack and a lot of pace In the backs, interesting to see how trinder goes. Looking forward to seeing how Cipriani manages the game and whether England can get the wingers into space.

Everyone’s so harsh on Goode. He is, to employ a cliche, a “quality footballer”: he has great vision and footwork and a good passing and kicking game, and although he’s not the paciest he always beats the first man. He’s not had a chance for England since he returned from a lengthy injury layoff, which seemed to do him good as he worked on his pace. I not calling for him to start but I’m happy with him as second or third choice, especially since he can do a job at 10.

I fancy Crusaders for this one – we have a lot of untested combinations and some uncapped players, against a side that – albeit shorn of some New Zealand players – plays together regularly (and has had a bit of a break)

If Leicester Tigers can beat South Africa, I’m sure Crusaders can beat this particular England outfit.

Give the Kiwi Paterson a go! However, not sure abt Barritt that Saffa however!?

Seriously tho, be gd to see Cip get a full run out. Have I said this prev? Also like to Chris Pennell. Not Seen much of him, or Anthony Watson @ wing either. At last too, Dave Attwood. And interesting to see Ed Slater. Leicester rate him.

Trust the bench gets a run. Long way to come to sit a game out.

Canter won’t have their ABs, but looking fwd to an early clash on Tue. Both sides will want to win so they’ll see a gd lash.

Hopefully this will be a gd game. Hard to pick a winner tho.

We all know what Goode offers at this level (not a huge amount), surely this would have been a good chance to see if Pennell can continue his club form?
