I’d actually think more likely to have the summer in the gym, like George Ford previously. He wasn’t first choice saxons tighthead and only got there after 2-3 injuries, however his potential is clear. I don’t think he’s going to tour, but u20s is now clearly a level below him. In the gym, work on his strength and fitness.

Zach Kibirige isnt included either? surely he must be injured, no way they’d leave him out after that wonder try he scored in the under 20s 6 nations against Wales.

Not injured, so I can only assume he’s lined up for main tour. He’s a decent prospect, but he’s yet to start a premiership match (even in the period when Brookes has been unavailable due to his ban).

I’d be a bit sceptical over picking 2 guys who don’t start for their clubs (Thomas has been dropped to the bench after his abject performance against Saints) as the backup to Moose. Seem more like 2019 projects.
