Not a sausage!? Must be an English site then. Anyway, interesting to see a full (?) squad, with the likes of Healy back along with O’Brien who will likely form a formidable back row with Heaslip & ? And I’d forgotten the Kiwi, Michael Bent, who hails 50 miles from my old home town. See if he gets a shout. I’ve always liked Fitzgerald & (R) Kearney since their Lions’ Saffa tour too, so maybe see both in action soon? Dunno how the midfield will shape, but as I’ve mentioned afore with the coaching, which Ireland now have, they’ll play to their strengths & probably ruffle a few. I saw in RW mag recently that Lenihan (I think) reckons on the Irish 1/2s are the best in the world at present (tempting fate ?), so they’ll likely have their tactics spot on then, won’t they? Better have, as there’ll be a few desperadoes tilting for them soon enough methinks. Nevertheless Smokin’ Joe & his side must be confident, esp after last yr, along with their supporters, some of whom are predicting a 6N title again, so had SL & the others, better shape up then?

Well Don, the bookies have England very, very slightly ahead of Ireland for the title. As Ireland only have two home games, that probably reflects the confidence in the Irish team.

You can get Scotland at 40/1 for the Title, and with 3 home games and a Grand Slam for anyone unlikely, that’s not a bad shout for a few spare quid.

But, dead dingo’s donger, brighty falls out with every one, so you’d better watch yer back. And no, no, no, glad to be of help to you.

The bookies aren’t playing & England have their 2 hardest away. We’ll see, but who’s likely to be more confident (an important factor this, methinks), England, who’ve lost 6 v the SH & won nothing under Lancaster, or Ireland, who won the 6N last yr @ Schmidt’s 1st attempt & who also recently despatched SA & Oz? Also Ireland don’t seem to have the need to make excuses about injuries.
