Jacques Brunel has named the Italy squad to compete in this year’s Six Nations. Sergio Parisse is once again named captain, in a squad that contains four uncapped players in Giulio Bisegni, Simone Ragusi, Michele Visentin and Marcello Violi. Violi is the only player from Italy’s Campionato d’Eccellenza to be included.
There are three France-based players in Parisse, Perpignan’s Tommaso Allan and Toulon’s Martin Castrogiovanni. England’s Premiership has a representation of six players, while the best represented club is Zebre, with 13 in the squad.
