Boyd has done a terrific job and there is promise of more to come next season.
Expect Saracens and Exeter to win their semi finals fairly comfortably.
The final round of games did produce some entertaining play, notably at Sale who had a real ding dong with Gloucester, and at Worcester, who did very well to win.
The season as a whole was a bit disappointing. The standard was variable to say the least. Saracens and Exeter are so clearly superior to the rest of the league. The rest really need to up their games and get near to the top 2. Some of our top clubs underperformed very badly and will need to improve considerably.
Shame to lose Newcastle as the North needs representation in the Premiership. They’ll be back.
Bristol surprised me and were undoubtedly a real success, playing an attractive style that was very pleasing . Pat Lam should get coach of the year.
