Ireland’s 6N over. Can’t seem them threatening England at all; in fact I can see Eng putting a lot of points on them. France could give Wales a few problems up front but otherwise France looked very disorganised albeit they did enough to beat Ireland.

yes ireland have really gone backwards at an alarming rate as well , they won’t ship a lot of points against england but they will lose im afraid , schmidt is really getting found out in the last few games but to be fair the graph has been dropping ever since themm world cup warm up games and we are simply to predictable now and are getting read like a ‘book ‘ , We badly need some new blood in there , and also look at changing our style of play to become more ‘heads up ‘ and less ‘stick to the play book ‘ type of rugby . 2016 is going to be difficult with a s africa tour in june and n zeland twice and australia in the autumn ,

Gotta love Schmidt and Irish players. They know their limitations and get stuck in where it counts. Simple game plan. Their rucking is brilliant. Once again French forwards were cowering at the onslaught.

Short on quality, short on the causes of quality. Conditions weren’t good to be fair. Not sure if we learnt much about either team – I think both can play better and I wouldn’t write off either against England. Did anyone else think that there were quite a number of late and dangerous hits by the French particularly in the first half, disregarding the Sexton one that the TV concentrated on?

The French play at times was dangerous and went unpunished by the referee. The French made a massive mistake in not taking the easy three point penalty at the very end of the game which could prove costly if the final table goes on points difference,as we well know from last season. I feel England can ruffle their feathers and beat them.

What’s happened to Ding Dong Denny?

Haven’t heard from him since b 4 the 1/4 final of RWC 2015 v Argentina?

Has the dire state if Irish rugby caused him to disappear in a puff of smoke?

The late hits with intent to injure opponent’s best players continue to go unpunished by authorities in general. When teams like France openly state that they are going to do it ( to Sexton) in the media beforehand in the World Cup, and then do it blatantly and get away with it, it makes me sick! More of the same yesterday. Cynicism that is killing the game.
