Without Parisse Scotland would have been out of sight. A very good performance especially from the Scottish back row.
Happy to finally get a win. Some good attacking rugby, same as the first couple of games but the big difference is we came away with points from the attacks.
Still giving away stupid penalties in defence, especially the yellow cards. Better team would’ve punished them more.
In the end all that mattered was the win. Hopeful for another win vs France after the game last night.
Still don’t see how Russell got carded looked fine to me.
If we could collect our restart ball we would have won by miles. How has this not been sorted yet!
We were fine at doing so when Parisse wasn’t miles offside when the restart kick was being taken…
Best game so far for me – great to see Scotland playing some attractive attacking rugby – a refreshing change from the stodge served up so far. Hogg is dynamite. If Scotland can build on this type of play and cut out some of the errors, they will start to win the tougher games. I can see them really pushing Ireland if they play with that attacking intent.
Thank god Scotland have won maybe you can move past the Australia game in The World Cup now, may be you will reach the dizzying heights of 3rd from bottom this year due to the way Ireland have been performing.
Careful Cymru Boy, I think Scotland will beat France and could certainly do a job on Ireland. Depending on results for Wales and France they could easily be top three this season. With the rugby they are trying to play they certainly deserve to be higher than the other Celtic nations and France.
Sorry cannot see the Scots winning in Ireland myself and I struggle to see them overwhelming France too.
I can definitely see Scotland beating France – especially if France are not in the mood and feeling a little temperamental. If Wales can beat France, don’t see why Scotland can’t since they narrowly lost to Wales. France are pretty awful as a team despite the individual talent they have at their disposal.
