He’s a beast, definitely the next Domingo, but he plays tighthead which is even better news for Wales! Was good to see a little bit of the 2009 vintage Roberts too. The SA centre’s clearly realised why he was player of the series in 2009, especially since he has been bubbling away just below the boil for so long. George north needs a rest, he’s looking like a lot of the England team in that he looks sluggish and not on his best game. He seems devoid of the relentless motivation he had to get his hands on the ball and ruin defences with his magical combo of agility and power. Wales need him galloping down that flank like the thoroughbred he is, not like the imposter we’ve all witnessed recently.

So he has played a lot more rugby this season, off the back of a Lions tour. Not surprising his form has dropped off.

Will be interesting to see if this affects Davies or Halfpenny in their first years abroad.

I know the ratings are subjective, but if this was Phillips’ best game in 4 years, and he was only worth a 7.5, surely that indicates the need for change?

These ratings are too low. Jenkins was fantastic – at least 3 turnovers I think and the scrum was solid. Samson Lee was much, much better than a paltry 5.5. North at 3.5 is right. Biggar gets a 6 for ~10mins of poor play instead of the ~70mins of excellent?
