Super Rugby Predictions 2017: Round 12

Another GSP last weekend, along with most people on Superbru admittedly, and we’re on another roll.

Blues v Cheetahs
The home side has won this fixture since 2008 and I can’t see that changing this weekend. Blues by 23.

Brumbies v Lions
The Lions are enjoying a successful tour of Australia, whilst the Brumbies have only beaten other Aussie teams so far this season. I’m backing the Lions to keep up their winning run. Lions by 4.

Crusaders v Hurricanes
This should be a cracking game in Christchurch with plenty of potential All Blacks on show. Initial instinct said to pick the home side, but they are just returning from a tour of South Africa, and the Canes could be slightly fresher. Hurricanes by 2.

Rebels v Reds
Not quite as exciting, but no less important in terms of Superbru points! The Rebels are having a tough season, and I expect the Reds to edge this one. Reds by 2.

Bulls v Highlanders
Another tough match for the Bulls at Loftus, and I suspect another home defeat. Highlanders by 13.

Kings v Sharks
The Kings have won two in a row and suddenly look more credible, but the smart money still says the Sharks should beat them. Sharks by 8.

Jaguares v Force
The Force are yet to win away in the competition, and look unlikely to do so in Buenos Aires. Jaguares by 18.
