Lions went to sleep in first forty and woke up to late in second forty.They are simply not the same
squad that reached to Super rugby finals.
The loss of their captain and now departure of Kriel to Gloucester play a major role in the teams disappointing performances.SA rugby due to political reasons and exchange rate is
hemorrhaging players no country can afford and still be competitive at international stage.
Our main competition the Currie cup ,the oldest competition in the rugby world, has now been slashed in half,in order to provide for a more competitive competition.

of the British pound and Euro.This may be beneficial to local teams,but I have yet to see
this benefit in the French and Italian international sides.

Picks look solid. I only missed the lions game last week. Lesson learned. Your picks look solid. My only convern is Jags. They are getting better every game and the blues are no where near their countrymen. I went Jags as my “upset” for the weekend although im not sure how much of an upset it will be

Two teams likely to cause an upset are the Reds
and Jaguares. Jaguares are most likely because the Blues forward play is not up to standard.Reds midfield could pose threat to lions defense.
