For start he didn’t write it, but that’s sort of irrelevant as he didn’t write any songs but you could be forgiven for saying that ‘My Way’ was his song. But not ‘Mack The Knife’. This song was famously sung, popularized and defined by Bobby Darin. Kevin Spacey even made a film about it.

Sure, Frank Sinatra sang a version, but it’s not well known as being one of his songs. That’s like saying ‘Hallelujah’ is an Alexandra Burke song.

I know I’m being pedantic, but it’s a glaring error to call it his song… and hey isn’t that what blogs are for?
