Ulster vs Connacht
This will probably be a tight game, but Ulster generally have better control from fly-half and this should allow them to play the game in the right areas of the pitch. Ulster by 6.

Benetton Treviso vs Zebre
Treviso are starting to push one or two sides in the Pro12 a bit closer, whereas Zebre are not (apart from Edinburgh!). Benetton Treviso by 10.

Cardiff Blues vs Newport Gwent Dragons
Derby games are always a bit more difficult to call, and neither team is in great form. The Blues have greater firepower in the backs and with home advantage, they should bag the points. Cardiff Blues by 7.

Edinburgh vs Glasgow Warriors
All form and league positions go out the window in the 1872 Cup. Edinburgh did the double last year, and may just edge out an inconsistent Warriors side in front of a big Murrayfield crowd on Boxing Day. Edinburgh by 2.

Munster vs Leinster
Really looking forward to this one with both sides playing some great rugby just now. Home advantage swings it towards Munster. Munster by 4.

Ospreys vs Scarlets
The Ospreys can’t stop scoring at the moment, and we should expect a hatful of tries from both teams in this game. After the Scarlets tough encounters in Europe, the home side may be better placed to win this one. Ospreys by 8.
