  1. Very disapointed by Australia, particularly in their three quarters. It seems to me they spend too much time on weights not enough time on skills.
    But brilliant performance by Scotland.

  2. A great performance and richly deserved, albeit the Aussies were distinctly average. I felt the work rate of Scots players (1-15) was exceptional and the way they ‘flooded through’ to support half breaks shows great confidence. Well done to the players and the former, and current, coaches

  3. Crazy that a weaker Scottish team and go out there and deliver a performance like that! As woeful as people are making Australia out as, Scotland were superb! Thoroughly deserved win. Should be 2/3 wins for Scotland, not Australia, but of course Craig Joubert is somehow a qualified referee…

80-77 I make that to Scotland on aggregate over the last three matches.

  4. I’ve only seen highlights of the game but from what I saw Scotland outplayed Australia. Duncan Taylor makes a big difference in attack, whatever position he’s playing in. His involvement in the Hamish Watson try is perfect evidence of that. Great result for Scotland!!

  5. Australia were poor. But really Scotland not that good. They were kept in the game by Australia mistakes and Wayne Barnes decisions. Always too quick to blow the whistle and some really borderline pens in Scotlands favour in their own 22. Barnes killed 2 Australia tries calling back play on a penalty advantage just as Australia were about to cross the line. Poor performance all round from everyone.

    1. Completely disagree. Scotland were class. Great mentality and team spirit. Their 3rd try was a beautiful stuff, and you have to be good enough to capitalise from your opponents mistakes, and Scotland did that.
