  1. Can’t believe there are people rating this match as a 1,2 or 3. I thought it was a really good, hard competitive game with terrific defence from both sides and some outstanding individual performances. How much more can one expect? The Irish pack will give England a real test, and although Devon Toner looks like a gigantic collection of meccano he is becoming a real force to be reckoned with. Murray looks nailed on as Lions scrum half and it was good to see Sexton back.

  2. Great test to watch

Ireland played the conditions well. Good to see a resurgent France.

It was particularly good to see some French ambition. They could have done with reining in the off load attempts a bit though – particularly Fickou. It really wasn’t the conditions for constantly trying to force the pass. They could have done with a bit more tactical control from fly half.

It was probably just me but did anyone else think Murray was tackled before he scored?

    1. Tackled but not held or actually put to ground, so not a double movement. Good spot though. And I thought a big difference was Murray/Sexton played the weather a lot better than Serin/Lopez did.
