
Joe Schmidt has named the Ireland team to take on Wales in their third warm-up game for the Rugby World Cup. The starting XV is a mixture of first choice players and those still battling for a place in the squad.
Paul O’Connell makes his first start of the season and is partnered by Iain Henderson in the engine room. Nathan White is given a chance to stake his claim on the tighthead side, while Jordi Murphy starts in the number seven shirt.
Luke Fitzgerald is given a stab at the outside centre berth while the first choice half-back pairing of Johnny Sexton and Conor Murray is reunited.
