Two GSPs in a row and an unbeaten streak of 20 matches for this amateur pundit, so let’s hope it continues for Round 5.
Highlanders v Rebels
The Rebels’ record against the Highlanders is not good, and their record so far this season is even worse. Highlanders by 23.
Blues v Force
This looks like a straightforward home win, particularly given the rumours about the Force being axed from Super Rugby, and the way they capitulated in Christchurch. Blues by 18.
Chiefs v Bulls
The Bulls are struggling, with only an unconvincing win over the Sunwolves to their name, whilst the Chiefs are unbeaten. It could be ugly for Bulls fans. Chiefs by 18.
Reds v Hurricanes
The beleaguered Reds return from their gruelling tour, and now host the reigning champions as the schedule does not get any easier. Hurricanes by 21.
Stormers v Cheetahs
The Stormers appear to be cruising in their conference this year, and this should be another victory against the second-placed Cheetahs. Stormers by 8.
Lions v Sharks
Finally a match that looks a bit tougher to pick, and this could be the game of the weekend. The Lions have won the last three meetings between the two sides, and home advantage has me leaning towards last year’s finalists. Lions by 6.
Waratahs v Crusaders
The Saders have been very slow starters in this year’s competition, but remain unbeaten thanks to some impressive comebacks. They were more convincing at home to the Force last weekend, and I think they’ll win this one too. The Tahs have only beaten the Force and the Rebels, and on paper, it’s an Away win. Crusaders by 8.

I have to say i’m a bit disappointed with the games this weekend. A lot of them look obvious to pick. Here are my predictions:
Highlanders v Rebels – Highlanders by 24
Blues v Force – Blues by 12 (Closer than some people think)
Chiefs v Bulls – Chiefs by 30 (The Bulls were hopeless last week)
Reds v Hurricanes – Reds by 6 (The Reds aren”t as bad as some people think, they should’ve beaten the Crusaders)
Stormers v Cheetahs – Stormers by 7
Lions v Sharks – Lions by 3 (Could go either way)
Waratahs v Crusaders – Crusaders by 15
The Reds played terrible last week.
They will also be tired from traveling to South America.
The Hurricanes are coming of a break and will destroy the reds.
