Missed out on World Cup tickets? No stress. Here’s our simple but effective four point guide to enjoying the tournament at home.
TV
Let’s start with the most basic part – you’re going to need a television to watch the games on. Samsung have released a hilarious series of World Cup-related adverts, so they get our vote in this area.

BEER
You’re going to need something to drink during the games, right? Heineken are the official beer of the Rugby World Cup, so it would probably make sense to give them a crack, really. They’ve also released some excellent World Cup-related content featuring Jonah Lomu recently.
Heineken are also offering fans the opportunity to win the chance to perform a coin toss at the Rugby World Cup – more info here.
FRIDGE
You don’t want to have to be getting up to go to the kitchen every time you want a cold beer, do you? Best get a mini-fridge to sit right next to the sofa – this one from Husky should do the trick*. It holds up to 40 cans, which should just about get you through Canada vs Romania**.
*other fridge designs are available
**drink responsibly
SECOND SCREEN
Let’s be honest, you’re probably going to need something to keep you interested during the second half of the Namibia vs Georgia game. And that’s where SuperBru comes in. We always run leagues on the original sports prediction platform, but our Rugby World Cup pool is set to be the biggest and most competitive ever.
Alongside our leagues, we highly recommend you set up your own with the mates you’ll be watching the game with – when Georgia are beating Namibia by 12 and you’ve picked them by 18, all of a sudden those last 10 minutes will seem far more interesting…
All the details on our leagues can be found here – we’ve set one up in the full fantasy game as well, for those who want an even more immersive experience.
So there you have it – the four things that will ensure you have as much fun at home as you would at the stadium. Probably.
As you know by now, we are hilarious, and you should be following us on Facebook and Twitter.
