Glasgow today confirmed the signing of Junior Bulumakau on a one year contract, the winger having trained with the squad for the past couple of months and making his debut in a pre-season friendly against Clermont at the weekend. In the game, he scored this wonder-try, scything through the tackles of Fritz Lee and Aurelien Rougerie:

Bulumakau was born in Fiji before moving to Scotland at the age of 10. He served as an infantryman with The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland since February 2010, deploying on overseas training exercises to Kenya and Cyprus.
He becomes Glasgow’s second new winger for the season ahead, alongside fellow Fijian-born flyer Taqele Naiyaravoro, who is currently in training with the Wallabies. And it’s difficult to ignore the similarities to Bath and England’s Semesa Rokoduguni, who also moved from Army rugby to the professional game. Is there international rugby in Bulumakau’s future? A few more tries like the one above, and there may well be!
As you know by now, we are hilarious, and you should be following us on Facebook and Twitter.
How is Rougerie still knocking about? He should be playing vets!
So Bulumakau has lived in Scotland since he was 10.
Whereas the Dunkey was yet another ‘foreign’ wunder-kid promoted to the England senior team asap and became yet another much heralded busted flush England player.
When will the richest union with its most arrogant and roundly despised supporters in World rugby ever stop giving out caps like sweeties in an attempt to gain immediate success?
So much money…so many players and so little to show for it all.
Enoch you are such a bitter Pratt. Living off generational hate…..it’s truly pathetic. My Dadcu was a Welsh nationalist and even he’d be embarassed
